Three Islands, Two Bathing Trunks, One Week, Part 1 (Badian)

When the HK-based editor of Business Traveller Asia Pacific called, I knew I was in for an assignment. The story? Three islands in Cebu with high-end resorts. For one week, I travelled from south to north and back just to be pampered at the spa, fed by chefs, guided by resident managers, helped fit into my snorkeling booties by dive guides, delivered at my suite with fresh fruits daily by the concierge and attended to by the resort owners themselves. It was great, but at the end of the day, it was still all work!. The hardest thing about travel writing is when you sit down and capture in words what happened.
