The 9" x 9" sized 200-page coffee table book will be launched in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental, on November 28, 2006. Printed in Singapore, it is a definitive description of Tangub's history, people, land and culture.
The book is written by Melanie T. Lim, an accomplished Cebu-based writer whose roots are from Tangub City and photographed by Ted Madamba, Jr. I provided the creative direction while Jojin Pascual, USC History department chair, provided the editorial direction.
Cover trivia: It took us two days to shoot the cover. We spent the first day for location and model hunting and another day to shoot it. The shoot was taken at the foot of Mt. Malindang where it rained the whole morning allowing us to take shots and shelter alternately.
