Omnisio, a video creation, sharing and presentation site was acquired by Google. They will be joining the YOUTUBE team, and soon use their knowledge and ideas for the Youtube community to be more interactive and innovative in products and feature.



Omnisio's acquisition statement says "We are thrilled to announce that we've been acquired by Google and will soon be joining the YouTube team, aligning us with the market leaders in online video. Together we'll apply what we've learned about the space, and we'll work to develop innovative products and features for the YouTube community. We believe we've only scratched the surface in terms of what's possible with online video, and we are really looking forward to taking the video viewing -- and creating -- experience to the next level."

I am not wondering sooner and later, GOOGLE will cover the internet envelop!

It is being reported that controversial YAHOO company has planned to reorganize. According to rumors, this is due to the failed bid by MICROSOFT to take over YAHOO and which cause some of the executives being dismayed and had planned to leave the company.




This reorganization is being pushed by YAHOO's new president, Susan Decker on which its goal is to improve communication between Yahoo's various divisions, including mail, search, and home page, with overseas sales staff.

On August 1 of 2008, its shareholders will vote for their new board of directors during their shareholder's meeting.

I’m not suggesting that you use your company’s resources for personal business, but just in case you’re tempted to check your stats or see if somebody made any comment to a post you made out of the office but you don’t want to be seen by your officemates doing it, here’s a cool way of camouflaging your surfing activity.

Introducing WorkFriendly–  this is a nifty website that allows you to browse in relative safety without anyone raising an eyebrow everytime they pass by your cubicle.  You only have to go to this website, put in the site you want to surf, and voila! that site is transformed into a Microsoft Outlook document.  It even has a ‘BOSS KEY’ button that you can hover on whenever somebody undesirable is around and it would show an article on procrastination.

We all know that blog surfing at work is never a good thing.  The company owns your time while you’re in the office.  But if you must scratch your surfing itch, be kind to yourself use WorkFriendly.

First of all, i am not into web development, eventhough i am a newbie blogger (a 1 year in blog? still considering myself as newbie..lol)
But want to share this idea to those who still do not know about Twitter.
As define from twitter itself, It is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? Bloggers can use it as a mini-blogging tool



For blogger like me, there are many definitions we can think of but as of now, i define Twitter as:
:140 characters mini blogging
:its a minute online talking for self and friends updates
:creating and expanding online circle of friends
:it will make you a better editorial writer, the briefer the words the better.
:one way of promoting and advertising your blog..LOL

So what's with TWITTER? This cool web application topped some of the Technology news sites last 8 days ago when some of the users or i may say twitterers including ME encountered problem asking why they are always get disconnected and get some error call outs. The reason is that Twitter have encountered Database failure and they are on the process of recovery until yesterday, when Twitter official representative, Jason Goldman, in their support Forum officially stated:

"We are coming back to life now - the recovery took a bit longer than anticipated.
With outages of this type, there is impaired performance after the database recovers. Essentially, it needs to be restored by handling incoming traffic but it takes a while to catch up with demand.
This process is concluding now but the site will be slow for a while longer."

Hmmm... do i hear the word SLOW? Anyways, every applications whether online or not, needs to have more testing or i may say development for it to be reliable and stable. so long live TWITTER! follow me NOW!

If Paris Hilton has its House of Wax well, we, hackers (am i included? lol) has our very own HOUSE OF HACKERS network. The site was run by GNUCITIZEN Think Tank.



According to the site, since its launched earlier this week, it has now signed up to about 1000 members (it includes me, again!).

The network was built for everyone's benefits. Hacking here is not used in negative side, they use it to elevate cooperation to all security researchers for the common good.

"House of Hackers stands strong behind the true meaning of the words hacker, hack and hacking. To the community, they should all express admiration for the work of the most skilled, creative, clever, unique, provocative, intelligent, intense, intriguing and interesting people among the human society."

Here is my newbie HOH profile..

Homepage Startup is a nice little website that allows an internet user to display thumbnails of his favorite websites. Instead of clicking on your bookmark or having to memorize all the internet addresses that you like, all you have to do is assign a box/thumbnail for each of these websites. That way, should you need to go to a particular website all you have to do is click the appropriate boxes. This makes things really easy especially if you point your homepage to the HomepageStartup you created. The site is free and registering to the site is quick and easy.

At first glance, there really is nothing extraordinary to this site. In fact it’s pretty harmless. Sure it’s cool and makes things easier but a lot of sites are cool and make things easier too.

But you see, while most folks see a regular, helpful, efficiency enhancing website, my somewhat perverted mind sees something else. Are you seeing what I’m seeing? Because what I’m seeing is a beautiful farm.

A beautiful Entrecard Farm– ripe, mature, and ready for harvest.

Now how do you create something like this. It’s actually very simple.

1. Register at HomepageStartup.com
2. Go over to the sites with Entrecard Widgets.
3. Right-click on the Entrecard Drop button, then Copy Location.
4. In the website space for each of the boxes, paste the copied Link Location.
5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 until satisfied.

Once you’ve cultivated your farm, and you’re ready to drop your cards, all you have to do is press on the Ctrl key, and then click as fast as you can on each of the thumbnails.

Now here are the Entrecard Parameters.

1. For each of your account, you can only drop as much as 300 cards a day.
2. If you have multiple Entrecard accounts, you can only drop as much as 600/day. That’s the cap given for every IP address. However, if you have a lot of computers, and a lot of profiles, then the number can go as high as the number of computers you have. If you’re very good at masking IP addresses and you can pass the server test, then there’s no limit to the number of cards you can drop.

Where do you find all those websites with Entrecard Widgets? It’s not that hard as they’re all over the place or you can just search for that Entrecard Power Dropping Site. There’s a list there of all these fast loading blogs.

Another thing about this website is that you can make as many 12 boxes/page tabs as you want. And if there’s not enough space, you can just create another account.

Ethical Considerations

Should you be doing this? The answer is no. But let’s face it, how many of the Entrecard Droppers actually stop and smell the roses of the blogs they visited after dropping their cards? Most folks are just concerned with dropping their cards thus the bounce rate of Entrecard visitors is pretty high.

All I’m saying is for those who want to exploit the point gathering system of Entrecard, there are ways. This is one of them.
