I posted a rather detailed entry over at http://neverdainty.blogspot.com about Game 1 of the match between the SPURS and the SUNS. [GO, SPURS! GO!!!]
Of course, the SPURS won. Why wouldn’t they? hehe.. But I have to be honest, I was really, really nervous about the whole enchilada. Even before the start of the 2008 NBA Playoffs, I was anxious regarding who the SPURS might end up facing on round one. And like all the things I get nervous with, my worst fears came true, and they were again face-to-face with the revenge-hungry SUNS.
Too bad I did not get to see the game LIVE. It would have been really nice. But somehow our Cable providers took away StarSports and the Basketball channel, leaving me with Balls [i hate this channel, sorry]. So anyway, news and highlights and some replays are all I get. *sigh* But I am still so happy.
The San Antonio SPURS won the game in a double overtime with 117-115. Tim Duncan had 40 points, Tony Parker with 26, and my ever beloved Manu Ginobili with 24. Way to go, big three! And good luck on Game 2!

You might as well expect me to talk about the 2008 NBA Playoffs - about the SPURS, especially, as long as it is the Playoffs season!

and that girl on TV said the CAVS would win just because they had LeBron. just goes to show, missy, you do NOT know a thing…! when somebody who thinks you know something, probably because you host a sports show, try to answer it like a pro… just because you heard others say that kid is phenomenal, does not make him a ready carrier of a whole tribe. he could simply be trying on his wings. soon.. he’ll be ready, but maybe just not now.
props to the CAVS! Great game!! and much CONGRATULATIONS to the SPURS!

SPURS Won! SPURS Won! Lala la la lala!! [dances around the room]
Yahoooie!! okay okay.. hyper mode on [again]. i can’t help it. this series must have the most hype EVER. well.. that ive ever seen anyway. but it still is not over since tomorrow will be game 6… and i hope they close the series out.
i know there have been so many controversies circulating with regards to dirty plays and rough games. but hey! that’s basketball for you. i dont think i have ever played a basketball game coming out without as much as a bruise. ive fallen down, scratched, bruised, elbowed and the likes. but i still like it. and well.. just my POV, basketball always comes with a little acting. hehehe
but i must digress… i cannot help but be a bit sad that Melinda Doolittle from American Idol Season 6 has been eliminated. i mean, she has the BEST set of pipes in that competition!! but u have to leave it to the people or producers or whoever the fault lies, to make a little tweaking in the end. its like the Pinoy Dream Academy here in the Philippines. it does not exactly matter if the person has talent to make the whole world drop to it’s feet. appearance also has a factor, and in the entertainment biz, i guess image and appeal can really take you from point A to point B. but it does not matter.. for me Melinda Doolittle deserves to win.

i thought the bug was gone fowevahhh.. but i guess i am weaker than i thought. despite the vitamins i am taking, and the food i am obviously eating, my body is still quite weak and still super susceptible to sickness - hence the cough. 
my throught is so dry tonight. i dont think the 2-10 shift agrees well with me.. or maybe it does.. [oh i dont know!!!] the fact of the matter is: i am sick. i dont want to be sick because i might carry the bug home and the kids might catch it. right now, though, i have them on vitamin C. let’s just hope and pray it pays off.maybe it’s the weather.. maybe it’s the aircon… or maybe it’s the people around me who are carrying it. and i tried so hard not to get sick…!!!! whyyyyyyy?!?! whyyyyyy?!?! whyyyyyy?!?! [ok this sounds soooo pathetic already.. hehe]
okay, im done whining. i guess i just have to get well, dont i?

in other news, the SPURS are playing tomorrow! at 7 a.m.!! as usual, i am ecstatic. i was bummed when they lost their first game.. but i have not lost hope. it is a “best-of-seven” thing anyway. so.. GO SPURS, GOOOOOOO!!!!

just for the heck of it.. i hereby challenge myself to write a poem [writing poems is soooo not me…]. the poem shall be finished by friday. till then.. you will hear more crazy rants, write ups about blah blahs from me..
yes, i am on hyper mode. i am allowing my soul to scream, rant, shout, and yell here because i, my friends, have lost my voice. tah!!!
