I was busy looking at Fall 2008 collection at GAP online then check out some of my fave stores in Ebay. It’s payday today! hehe And then I saw this Big Crumbs when I was busy clicking away!You know me, I love to shop specially if it has sales going on! I’m sure you all can relate with this addiction:) lol So, I got interested and checked it out right away! I have never heard a site that you can actually earn some cash while shopping! Yup, it’s true! I read some testimonials and it’s really true! It’s like you shop through their site to the stores you like! Those merchants like Ebay and other 277 popular retailers will pay them and then they will pay you for sending you to them! Awesome right? All you have to do is become a member of their site, then shop just like the usual thing you do!

Now, I am looking at their site for registrations and of course I am going to use them if ever I’ll be doing some shopping galore online:) I’ll check about the other retailers they have. don’t you just like it when you can earn money from shopping? I want a few pairs. Summer sale are still up and I don’t want to pass up some fabulous discounts! I bought a few pairs since we arrived here from the long vacation. Although, I have been shopping for most of the time in Phils. So, the husband has been telling me to not buy more in the coming weeks:) hehe Besides with winter coming, I can never some of them! But I wanted a few more bootleggers! Gee, I want more in brown and purple too! I saw a few in the Mall the other day so, I will see if I can get my time going there again. But I saw this bootleggers store! I might just do my online shopping there! the jeans aren’t that expensive and i like the look of the site! I maybe a little fat but I am soo particular with the clothes I wear. Blame it to the husband who doesn’t buy cheap items. He always says, quality should always be considered when buying things!

It's so hard having a dog in the house.Since we got her here,we never tried letting the dog sleep outside.From the start she came to us,my husband told me that she is going to be an inside dog.So here she is,wherever we are,there she is too.But the problem is,she is not over with her chewing stage yet.I thought we could be relieved now without worrying for our furniture to be chewed on.But,I was wrong,she started chewing on the loveseat that we have.For that,I am dying to buy for a perfect fit slipcovers for our furniture in the living room.I am glad though that I found a website online that sells various of slipcovers to choose from.

We finally went out this evening for just a stroll in the mall and then we had dinner! The husband was not feeling well so we decided to go to the mall next door! Perks living in the city is that malls and grocery stores are just around the area. Then after dinner, I snagged a few shirts for the 2 boys. It was quick because I was not there for shopping. I just love some of the shirts prints and I cannot wait for tomorrow to buy! lol And I was laughing hard when I saw some of the funny writings in the shirts for ladies. It was so funny. I told the husband and he said to buy one. But I didn’t. It was just some summer shirts. Yeah, I know how to say no this time! But I was thinking of this vintage t shirts that I saw earlier. This are fun shorts too and really cool looking prints compared to the one I saw in the mall. I think I will get this one! hehe Don’t you just like it? It’s soo true too! I’ll see if I can get one of this! There are too many prints you might be interested! I saw shirts for babies then for love prints, animal and a lot more different kinds of prints!

News of anyone having a baby always brings a smile to my face. So when our tech guys Beng announced a baby shower for his first born due in October we all happily pitched in. Beng had a list to help us along, so it wasn’t very difficult to think about what to get for the coming baby.

A few days after the party he thanked us by putting this picture up on his website:

And while I looked at it I remembered how my babies started out. Totally different circumstances they were, as we were living in the province, I didn’t have a job, and I had a bunch of sisters- and cousins-in-law who had babies and baskets full of hand-me-downs for Athelstan. Diapers were made out of old flour sacks, washed out and bleached and washed with Perla Blue so that they’d be soft and fluffy. Old blankets were cut into smaller chunks and sewn into quilts to line the convertible crib which had belonged to the eldest son of the eldest daughter-in-law of an aunt.

Honestly, this was the first time I had been invited to a baby shower. We didn’t have them in the province, as it was considered bad luck to buy anything in advance for an unborn baby. I had sat with head bowed under disapproving eyes of elder women who tut-tutted after I had bought a baby mobile while I was six months pregnant with Maui. I had gone to the local bakery and bought three dozen old flour sacks but I couldn’t clean them out because my neighbors ten meters away would cluck and shake their heads at me, and I was young enough back then to care.

When we were expecting Maia things were a bit different. We lived in Manila now, where no one cared what their neighbors did as long as they weren’t too loud, and I had enough funds to plan ahead with. Sam and I had managed to get a few things in Divisoria in preparation for the hospital basket, the one we’d take when it was time to go to the delivery room. But having gone through previous experiences such as these keeps me in awe of parents who do hold baby showers, and half of me wishes I had done the same thing back then.

I know Nikon just released the new Nikon D700 already and I’m sure it’s one heck expensive so, I will see if I can have this Nikon D300 come December for my birthday! ehehe..Btw, I’m selling my Nikon D80. It’s still very good with lens of course! I was joking the husband if ever I can sell the D80 earlier, If I can get the D300 earlier too! hehe Or or..I don’t mind the Nikon D700, dear husband! LOL

One of the oft overlooked promotional tools in blogging is tagging.  Tags are word or phrases that you use to associate to your blog post.  An article on the Kizuna Satellite for example could be tagged with Kizuna Satellite, satellite internet, or plain Kizuna.  Sometimes folks can be quite lazy in tagging their posts so some smart guys came up with ways to make tagging blog posts easier.

If you’re a wordpress user, you’re in luck, there’s a wonderful plugin called Simple tags.  This is a really cool plug-in that will automatically suggest tags for your the blog post you just created.

If you’re with blogger, then it’s just too bad. Well, not really.  Zemanta is your solution for those tag suggestions.  I have been using Zemanta for a while now and has been satisfied with what it does.

One important tag that a blogger should always associate with their posts are Technorati Tags.  This allows your post to be categorized under Technorati.  You benefit from having Technorati tags in your posts via tag searches made in Technorati.  Here’s a very good discussion on Technorati Tags that I’ve read.

Again, if you’re a wordpress user, here’s a Technorati Tag plugin that makes life very easy.

For Blogger users, you may have to follow the instruction in the above linked discussion or, you could use this nifty service where you just type in the tags you want, click on the make code button, and then copy-and-paste the resulting code in you blog post.

The thing to remember really is to ensure that you don’t get crazy lazy and not put in any tag in your posts.  By so doing you miss out on one of the simple promotional tools out there.
