at home

well, mom was finally released from the hospital. it's always shitty falling in line and facing cranky old men wanting their lunch. anyway... when i finally got the bill, i went to my mom to show her so she can write the cheque so i can go back down to the accounting and pay. what do you know... she insisted on doing everything herself. i tried to stop her... but she's a feisty woman who will not part with her money without a little 'chat.' some piece of her mind has to be said and relayed because of some little incompetencies of the hospital that just waste time and effort.

so there is a patient for you. paying her own bills and fighting her own battles. good one, mom. the funny thing was... she had to go back up so the nurse can wheel her down. because it is hospital policy. even if the patient is ambulatory. woman, my mother just had a small talk with your billing personnel downstairs. but who are we to deprive them of their little protocol.

though in the end... i end up being tense wondering if her BP will shoot up again or i will get the aftershock of her 'discussions'. ;P

thank God she was keeping her own BP in check. no backlashes or anything.

she hasn't unpacked yet. bummer. so i haven't snooped around what stuff she brought.

my bro said this what he asked for was this. i'm not sure if she got it, but if she did... then that means i get to get the old xbox. yeah! but that old thing needs cleaning though. boo. as for the beloved apos, she got them a nintendo wii. oraaayyt! christmas will be a whole lot fun this year. of course, i'm going to bully them around to let me play with it. hah. i'm not sure if this is a sister loot, too. she probably got jewelry or something.


as for my loot... which i was all excited about... but it turned out that it's cheaper to get it here. i'm still canvassing for it. and i would have to add my own cash to it. i hope, i hope, i hope that i really get it. what it is... i will definitely show it off when i have it.
