A brief History

Long ago the place was inhabited by natives known as the "Mangcas". The word Mangcas derived from the name of a brave and noble Negrito warrior who lived in the creek of Canman-ug. Because of his kindness people loved him, and all of his offsprings also named after him, later on when there is too many Mancas around, a settlement emerged and local natives named it Mangcas.
