Sometimes people would ask or wait for my blog post. Sometimes they complain why I can't update it regularly, since I can be available to be online everyday.

The thing is, I write most of my thoughts in my diary. My deepest thoughts are not to be published online. That's why, if I feel sick or empty throughout the week, aside from being busy, then I won't able to remember my blog.

OK since I am already online and since I am already logged inside blogger, then I will attempt to summarise my day:


This week hasn't been bad. One thing is, POWERPOINT (which is my current module) happens to be easy. Yet it is very hard for me to concentrate if I always daydream about beaches, sand and sexy bodies. Well I tell you, if you're in winter season right now, you can't help it but dream about the tropics.

I'm also planning to save (which is the case, I still need to attempt). I am keen of going to visit my grandparents this Christmas. BUT, I HOPE MONEY ISN'T THE PROBLEM. They are in States, and I THINK I WOULD LIKE TO SHOP THIS CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY THERE. So... sorry if made it all in CAPS. It's just my way of projecting things.

So, how am I supposed to save enough money for travel and expense when I only get $100 (NZ) a week extra money? Shuushh!

But anyway.. I AM A DETERMINED PERSON (NOT!). We'll see what happens in the long run.

Okay, so the Miami Heat are up 3-1 against Detroit. They won earlier today. OMG, ang saya ko. But of course, I'm in no mood of celebrating just yet. This is Detroit we're talking about. The Destroyer of Dreams, the Holocaust of Hope of my teams. If you may remember, they convincingly defeated the Four Horsemen of the Lakers. They also defeated the Miami Heat last year in the conference finals.

When Shaq left the Lakers, my loyalty shifted from West to East. I became a certified Heat fan. I admit that I was a Shaq fan at first, but now, I'm all Heat. And mind you, I didn't join the Heat bandwagon. I'm not saying that it's wrong but the others only became fans when they were good, like what happened with the Clippers this season. The fanbase increased tenfold when they entered the 2nd round. However, I was a fan from the moment Shaq joined the team. Now, my fanaticism is stronger than ever.

Anyway, they have a chance to enter the Finals for the first time in franchise history. Only one more win. I'm not thinking about the Finals yet. Let's just take it one game at a time. Hopefully, they can close it out in Detroit.

Construction has begun on Aunt Genie's Bread House. The workers have started taking out the pebbles on half of our garage and will start pouring cement and put up the dry wall this week. The machines have also arrived! I still have to read the manuals and talk to an electrician to find out if there is any need to do some electrical rewiring.

On my end, I was supposed to do a photo shoot for a newly opened spa tomorrow at 9am. However, my client called this 11pm to postpone the shoot because he wants to meet the models first. This is quite frustrating because during our last phone conversation he that everything should be done by monday. Oh well, as they say, the customer is always right....at least, most of the time.

It's just fitting to recap my summer on the last day of vacation, i.e. the day before the start of the CPA board review. I can classify the things I did into two categories, major and minor.


MAJOR

1. Moving - From Pasig to LPC. I think we've adjusted pretty well. I still can't believe that garbage collection is only once a week, as opposed to Pasig's everyday.
   
2. Puerto Galera 1 - My second time in Galera. Went with college friends. Please see the blogs of Crystle and Loraine for the details of this trip.

MINOR
This involves the small stuff like reading Clancy's Rainbow Six and Grisham's The Testament, watching Miami defeat the Bulls and the Nets (and hopefully, Detroit and Dallas), sleeping, surfing the net, feeding the fish (too many to mention), Raymond the guinea pig (because everybody loves Raymond) and Apu the rabbit, cleaning my room, watching Taylor Hicks win AI, etcetera shmetcetera.

since i was envious when kusum talked about her Goa trip...i better post about our ilocos tour too...this is long overdue...i planned to post this weeks ago...and here it is...

day 1 -friday afternoon of Apr 28

happy faces boarded the bus...t'was a long drive...12 hours to be exact...but who cares about the long drive if we are having fun? the long drive was an opportunity to bond with officemates...we were restless and sleepless on the way...most of the time we were laughing over nothing...we simply had fun...

Day 2 - April 29

Our first stop was the patapat bridge...i forgot why we stopped there!...hehehe...i hardly heard the tour guide mumbling about the history of the bridge...i guess it has a significance in our history...

then we hit pagudpod...the famous boracay of the north... we played beach volleyball and simply enjoy the summer heat and white sand! Since i want to be different...i put on sun tan oil instead of sun block!...i want to have tan lines...my boss was wondering why because im already dark...i just told him i want to be darker! i want to get those tan lines to let people know that i went to the beach! hehehe...sensya na nagpapapansin ako!

in the afternoon we proceed to Fort ilocandia an hour drive from pagudpod. it is one if not the best hotel in ilocos region...again we enjoyed the pool and the beach...what the heck if it wasnt white sand...beach is beach! Fort ilocandia is a garden hotel...there are lots of flowers and grass...they have a mini zoo too! the food was sumptous enough to make me forget that im on a perpetual diet!... too bad we just stayed there for a night!

Day 3 - April 30

The breakfast was great!!!...not just because the food was delicious...but also because there were a lot of good looking males there...my stomach and eyes were full!

Then we toured the historical places and museums in ilocos prior going to the famous street in vigan (maybe its not at all famous because i forgot the name of the street!)...where the old houses are seen...though most of the houses were converted to stores selling vigan delicacies and antiques...

after the long day...we headed back to manila...another 8 hours drive...we drank tequilas and sang old songs on our way back to manila!!!

it was indeed tiring but fun!!!

that was one of the unforgetable moments or shall we say some giant steps my hometown has done.It was the 1st time that an international conference about heretage homes was done here in bohol.I did not waste time, immedietly i signed up for the list. I learned a lot of things during that conference I realized that im not the only one who has that advocate for saving our heretage homes to my surprise there were already a lot of filipinos who are really interested on such move of conservation, i also met my mentors on my college days who were part of cultivating my mind on such issue of conservation, it was an unforgetable experience...but the most unforgetable experience then was when one of the major orginizer in that conference and sat with us in our dinner table,hmmm guess who? BEA ZOBEL ...ive seen her a lot of times on tv and often you find her name on coffe table books and magazines, but on that day when BEA learned we were architects from Bohol she spent her time with us an told us how lucky we are and proud should us be being boholanos...she loves bohol so much as well with the group from manila she had with her.

A lot of things Bea said were no more a surprise to me, but knowing that this people who are not from bohol was so in love with the place i came from, what happen was that she or they
made me felt proud as well as sorry to the possibilities that will happen to bohol if no great moves shall we say wise moves are to be done.
